New-style Japanese dining at Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay on Talamanca Bay, from black cod miso to Formentera red prawns
Nobu Ibiza Bay is the Nobu restaurant inside Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay, on the shore of Talamanca Bay about ten minutes by car from Dalt Vila and the old town. Tables are spread across the dining room, the sushi bar, the bar lounge and the poolside, with the sea in view.
The menu is Nobu Matsuhisa's new-style Japanese cooking: black cod miso, yellowtail jalapeno, tiradito, rock shrimp tempura and crispy rice with spicy tuna, alongside dishes chef Enrico Maimonte builds around the island with Formentera red prawns, Ibizan citrus and sea herbs from nearby coves. There is also an Omakase, plus tasting menus of six and seven courses.
Dinner runs every night from 7:30pm to 1am, with last orders at 11pm, and the bar pours house cocktails such as the Paloma Mala and the Es Vedra. This summer the terrace also opens for lunch from Friday to Sunday, 1pm to 4pm, with a smart casual dress code and tables open to guests from outside the hotel.
The hotel around it has direct beach access, two swimming pools, the Ibiza Bay Spa by Six Senses and a rooftop over Talamanca Bay, and its beach restaurant, Chambao By the Beach, serves breakfast and long lunches of grilled fish and Valencian paella by the water.
