Nobu Matsuhisa's Japanese-Peruvian classic at Atlantis, The Palm.
Nobu is Chef Nobu Matsuhisa's Japanese-Peruvian restaurant at Atlantis, The Palm on Palm Jumeirah, part of the global family that made the style famous. It was one of the first restaurants to open with the resort in 2008, and it remains one of the longest-running fine-dining rooms on the Palm.
The room sits inside the Atlantis resort instead of out on the beach, pulling in hotel guests and Dubai regulars alike across a long service. It carries the warm, low-lit look common to Nobu dining rooms, built around a sushi bar and a lounge for drinks before and after the meal.
The menu is the Nobu canon, the same dishes that built the name worldwide: black cod miso, yellowtail sashimi with jalapeno, rock shrimp tempura and new-style sashimi, alongside sushi, maki and a full omakase. Peruvian accents run through the tiradito and the ceviche, and the sake and cocktail list is built to match the food.
Nobu is a book-ahead occasion room, busiest at dinner and on weekends when the resort is full. Reserve early for prime slots, note the smart dress code the room keeps for dinner, and plan the evening around a resort that rewards arriving with time to spare. The sushi bar is the seat to request when you want the kitchen in view.
